Educational Foundation
Dr. McKenzie's academic journey is marked by a commitment to diverse healing modalities. She began with a Dental practitioner from the Jamaica Ministry of Health and continued her studies at Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Promotions from O'Hehir University, followed by a Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine and Sciences (DHMS) from Hahnemann College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada.
Further expanding her knowledge, she obtained a Diploma in Acupuncture from the Occidental Institute, pursued Medical Acupuncture at the Bio-Medical Acupuncture Institute in Colorado, and received Laser Therapy certification from TheraLase Canada. Her expertise extends to oral health and systemic, pain management (Pan-American Institute of Natural Science), Homotoxicology (International Academy of Homotoxicology), and Bio-puncture (Bio-Med Canada). She participated in international medicine seminars and workshops at the Institute of International Medicine, University of Missouri, and contributed to doctoral fellowship research at the University of Humanitarian Medicine and Quantum University of Integrative Medicine.

Dame Dr. Sheila McKenzie is the founder and chancellor of the Canadian College of Humanitarian Medicine.
CCHM is a non-profit organization that provides professional development, research, and educational opportunities for healthcare professionals. It has a federal charter, which gives it legal recognition by the Canadian government. The Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities also recognizes CCHM as a post-professional continuing competence educational institution. The Canadian College of Humanitarian Medicine provides courses and programs designed to help healthcare professionals keep up with the latest knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality care to patients and potential students seeking new career paths.
In addition to its educational offerings, CCHM partners with the World Organization of Natural Medicine as a part of Clinics for Humanity™ to provide outreach programs and humanitarian services to underserved communities. This partnership is a testament to CCHM's commitment to improving healthcare access in communities that may not have access to essential services.
Professional Experience
After over 35+ years of clinical practice as a Dental health practitioner, Dr. McKenzie transitioned to empowering individuals in achieving their wellness goals. She founded the Integrative Health Optimization Club, a platform for education, research, and personalized guidance. She is a prolific writer, having authored numerous research papers, magazine articles, and books. Her expertise has also been shared through radio and television appearances.
